I’m Brooke Glazer and I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
While I help anyone achieve any nutritional goal, I specialize in working with people who are struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating.
I love food, but I didn’t always. I struggled with an eating disorder for many years and it wasn’t until I discovered intuitive eating that I truly recovered.
Intuitive eating is about listening to your body. It’s about honoring your body’s signals and paying attention to what you need and what makes you feel good. If you eat when you’re hungry, you’re less likely to overeat later. Your body has an internal wisdom to tell you what it needs and when it needs it. It’s not about dieting or restriction; it’s about finding what works for you. When you honor your cravings, it helps you find piece of mind with food.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor of science in dietetics and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Since moving to L.A. in 2009, I’ve opened a private practice and worked at eating disorder and mental health clinics to provide support to hundreds of clients.
I love my job. I love eating and sharing life through food with my clients, family, and friends. I love to cook. I love to hike. I love to travel. And I love finding new great restaurants in L.A.
I look forward to meeting you and finding a plan that is sustainable and realistic for your lifestyle.
